Probably curious about what time of day to take architectural photographs or visualization. I have good news for you: we have investigated this factor.
For the study, we used 4 photos of the same building at different times of day: at sunrise and at sunset, at midday, and at night (to check the reliability of the study, we took two test samples – 8 photos in total). We asked groups of 400 people what they thought of the following photos. We asked them to rate each of them on a scale of 1 to 5.
I will show you the results:
The respondents’ favorite times of day were west (3.83) and east (3.63). The night visualizations were the worst.
It is no coincidence that the most beautiful part of the day is said to be the ‘golden hour. At this time, buildings will look best for photography.
