Google Ads – some notes and recommendations
Google Ads is an advertising system that allows you to build and coordinate advertising campaigns. You can determine how much money you want to spend on ads. In the basic types of ads, you only pay for a click by a person interested in your content.
The most important question at this stage is: How do you adjust your ad to make it visible to your audience? What can be done to make it interesting, to draw attention to itself?
Visual
Each advertisement will be characterised by a similar visual propensity of the recipients. This means that potential customers will be interested in our campaigns through original and distinctive graphics or illustrations. Many researchers argue that advertising is the most significant and influential art form in the world.
People remember 80% of what they see and only 20% of what they read. 90% of the information sent to the brain is visual.
Therefore, rely on attracting the viewer’s attention through the right choice of colours, contrasts and alignment with the main idea of the advertisement.
Colours
An example might be an advertisement for an exclusive service for men. In this case, the ideal colour choice would be black, because in colour psychology it is responsible for simplicity, elegance, and high-quality services or products. In addition, the colour black has a strong attraction for men.
Women, on the other hand, prefer soft, subtle colours that convey purity and professionalism.
Is there anything else important?
As I mentioned above, choosing the right contrasts and colours that will stand out. And most importantly, aligning with the main idea of the ad, both graphically and emotionally.
The technique of ‘effectiveness condition’ is used quite often in advertising. The advertised product is surrounded by goods or objects that evoke positive emotions in the consumer.
Let me give you an example here: Laundry detergent is best combined using a representation of children, flowers, sunshine, etc.
It is believed that repeated demonstration of the brand in such an environment will also evoke a positive attitude of the consumer towards the advertised goods.
If you want to create a convincing and attractive advert, rely on visual values! What we see with our eyes reaches our brain very quickly, and there this image is processed into a myriad of emotions. Emotions touch our hearts!
