01 About project
ACROMED is a medical clinic in Warsaw providing care under the Polish public health system (NFZ). We redesigned the website and added two self-service tools that took the most repetitive patient requests off the phone line: online confirmation and cancellation of appointments, and online prescription requests.

02 Challenges
1. Everything went through the phone
Confirming a visit, cancelling one, asking for a repeat prescription — all of it required a call, which kept the line busy and the staff occupied.
2. NFZ content is mandatory, long and dense
Coordinated care, preventive programmes, vaccinations, EU-funded project information — none of it can be cut, all of it has to be findable.
3. The site didn't reflect the clinic
The old design looked dated and undersold the range of care actually available.

03 Solutions
1. Full redesign
A clear, modern medical look: strong hero message, readable typography, real photography of the team, and one consistent visual system across the whole site.
2. Structured, not shortened, content.
The obligatory NFZ material sits in collapsible sections, so the page stays scannable while every required detail remains available.
3. Online appointment confirmation and cancellation.
Patients handle their own visits on the site instead of calling — the single biggest source of inbound calls, removed.
4. Online prescription requests.
Repeat prescriptions are requested through a form, which replaces the call and gives the clinic a written, complete request.
5. Trust signals built into the page
Named specialists, languages spoken, FAQ, three clear ways to register as a patient, and the EU funding disclosure presented properly rather than buried.
